And just like other natural products (think of wood and wine), cotton is not 100% identical on every roll. That's why we always make the sofa from one and the same roll of fabric to prevent colour differences. Do you ever plan to order a matching hocker or loveseat? If so, it's best to order a matching hocker or loveseat at the same time as your sofa so that the furniture is made from the same roll of fabric. The composition with 15% polyester also improves the light fastness of the fabric. Keep in mind that dark colours are always slightly more sensitive to light than light colours. In terms of pilling, the fabric is comparable to a polyester quality. It is important that you never rub dirt and stains but always dab with water and a white cotton towel.
Maintenance of your sofa
Before use, spray the sofa once with a fibre protector to stop the worst dirt. We like to work with the Protexx fibre protector ourselves. They offer a 3 year staining service for 25,-/seat. By the way, you can loosen the covers of the seat and back cushions of model X3 and have them chemically cleaned.
